The South Madison Coalition of the Elderly is a nonprofit agency providing social services for older adults.
We strive to preserve and improve the life satisfaction of older adults in a number of ways by:
- bringing together individuals in the community who have a concern for the needs of older adults.
- coordinating and establishing programs that will help older adults prepare for and live creatively in their retirement years.
- focusing the attention and energies of the community on the needs of older adults.
- identifying the needs of older adults and advocating for their resolution.
Mission Impact
Mary’s family: “Your organization made it possible for our family to survive day to day and manage a difficult time. Without all your knowledge and support, I cannot imagine what we would have done.”
Harriet: “I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for me. With the extra money you helped me get, I will be able to buy food and meals that I could not get in the past. All your help has made a difference in my life.”
Bertha’s daughter: “My mother’s case manager has been my family’s guardian angel. She is the one I know I can turn to with every question, problem, and dilemma. Your case manager never once has let me down; when she says she will do something, she always comes through and far exceeds her duties.”
